How it Works
spaced repetition n. A learning method that strengthens memory by adjusting review intervals based on how well you remember.
Pick a unit, tick the lessons and card types you want, and press Study. Mix units does the same across several units. What you chose becomes a session on the Units page: Resume picks it up, End removes it. Ending a session erases nothing you have learned.
SRS mode
Answer each card from memory, show the answer, then rate yourself. The rating sets how often the card comes up.
| Forgot | Much more often, and again in a few cards. |
| Hard | More often. |
| Good | Less often. |
| Easy | Much less often. |
Cards come 20 at a time, drawn at random. New cards join a few at a time, in lesson order. A card climbs from Learning to Proficient to Mastered; Mastered takes getting it right on a second day. Nothing is ever due.
Classic mode
Every card you chose, once, shuffled. Front, then back. Nothing is rated or recorded.
Cards
Vocabulary goes both ways: define the term first, and once that is Proficient, type the term from its definition. For a list of conditions or steps, tick each part you recalled; every part has to be there.
Star a card to mark it, and study just the starred ones with “Starred cards only”. A note shows with the card’s answer.
Keys: Space shows the answer, 1 to 4 rate it, S stars, N notes, U undoes.
